Painted skull
« on: January 16, 2014, 01:57:19 PM »
My daughter painted my 2013 black bear skull.  She came up with the design herself and painted it free hand.  Really happy with it.  Nice to have things that your kids make themselves.

very cool.....
what type of paint did she use?  I can see she topped with a clear coat but cant tell if that's standard acrylics or an oil based paint the opacity makes me think acrylic, or maybe gouache.

Never thought I'd like a skull being painted but that's cool. She did a great job.

Said she used regular and soy based acrylic paints.

Great job. I like the fur underneath it as it really adds design and the skull itself. You've got a new business going from the sounds of the replies so far. I'll be in with my next bear.
